Video Lighting Stands
What do you recommend as far as lights in the photo studio to get you started.?
I'm wanting to go into some studio / photography portrait, but do not want to invest a ton of money right off the bat. I do not know where to start, although the aspect of enlightenment. What power I suck? Strobe or consistent? I normally wedding video and see a lot of photographers who are just a flash on a stand with a light box around and that's all so its use as a secondary light, it is best to get just one extra flash and put it in a position towards the purchase of an extra light? I have a Canon Digital Rebel, do I need get a radio slave to pop flashes / lights? How should I be expecting to pay for a decent lighting set. Any response would be very appreciated. I'm not looking to get into wedding photography, just a bit of subject matter and portraits.
Do not go with hot lights (in constant), its models do not want to be there in 90 ° temps looking to bright light. Using strobes!
