I tripped over my computers power cord & now it wont turn on or charge?
OK so my second laptop computer kept reminding me to setup a backup for my files & i always ignored it.
In the past it would struggle to turn on and the fans would make a noise.
I was watching a video on youtube & i tripped over the power cord as it did not have the battery in it so it turned off of couse.
Now it does not turn on and when i try to charge it as the power signal on the laptop does not light up.
What did i mess up?

You probably damaged the jack plug in your laptop. You’re not alone, it’s extremely common. You need to pickup a new power board and have someone install it. The laptop will usually have to be completely taken apart to swap out the part. Estimated cost is about $60 labor and $30-$100 for the part (Ebay is cheapest).
