In the long term (at least 4 years) what mobile processor would be the best. AMD Turion or Intel Core 2 Duo?
Turion TL-62 with 4 GB ram or
Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 with 3 GB ram
I have an AMD right now and it has been very good to me when it comes to video editing and converting but i am looking for my girlfriend who only does the basics (word processing, internet, chat, music). Looking for it to last 4 or more years. I know the AMD chip is better than this Intel chip for heavy purposes but she will be using it for light purposes but using it frequently. Which will stand the test of time?
Does anyone have any experience with either one of these processors?
AMD processors are better for the long run, I have one for about 3 years now and it has never failed me.I have freinds with intel processors and they complain all the time stick with AMD.
