Is Sony Movie Studio 9 Soft ceramic supports a high definition camera?
I have a new pc and want to do some editing of my program public access and putting things up on you tube. I have Sony Movie Studio 9 that was a gift (which I had not used yet, hehe). But my camera is a Camcorder Sony High Definition. Do I need new software or movie studio is still going to work in September with a high definition camera. I'm new soooooo in this so any advice will be greatly appreciated dummer down.
According to Sony Movie http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/news/ShowRelease.asp?ReleaseID=694&CatID=0 Studio 9 * * must be able to cope with high definition (HDV format to miniDV tape based camcorders) video or video in AVCHD format (in files MTS/MT2S flash memory or hard drive based consumer camcorders DVD) … What we do not say is what the video source is high definition (which camcorder – Manufacturer and model number) or what computer (hardware manufacturer, the clock speed of the CPU, RAM and hard disk space available and the available connections for the video camera). The editing application is only part of the whole system and the "system" can work only if all components can work together. The Movie Studio 9 box will have a list of minimum requirements for the computing environment – it would be prudent to address these requirements.
