studio lighting?
Okay, i need to get some studio lights. I am brand new at this and so i don’ t want anything “professional”. I want umbrella lighting, and the kind of lights that stay on the whole time. I don’t want the kind that flash when you take the pic. I need it to work good enough for a beginner, but also a good price…like something below $400. What do you suggest? A lighting kit would be great. I have been looking but can’t seem to find what i want. Help! 
People have suggested alien bee, but that is still more than i want right now.
The are lots of cheap aisain made kits like this on ebay. For the lighting that “stays on” rather than flash, look for ‘continuous flourescent’ or something of the likes. Different sellers call them different things.
These lights are designed for umbrellas and don’t emit much heat.
