Studio Lighting Photography
Any suggestions on lighting photography studio, which is cheap and is a decent set.?
Will you use a Nikon D70s, so that compatiability with that camera .. is necessary. Thank you.
A popular choice for studio lighting is Alien Bees. Want to get the B800, more than the B400, (it's better to have more lighting needs to not having enough). You can always start with just a light if the budget is a problem. Many photographers take great pictures with a single light. You can always add additional lights later as your budget allows. If your camera has a PC sync outlet, then you can simply plug the lights into the camera. Otherwise, you'd have to buy an adapter that fits your camera's hot shoe. Any that is the brand you decide to get, make sure you have strobe lights (which are also called monolights). You do not want to get continuous lighting. There is a reason for continuous lighting is cheap. They use a lot of power and get very, very hot. continuous light that works well for product shots, but they are horrible for taking portraits of people. Does not want his patient sitting under the hot lights for an hour or more.
