Im thinking about purchasing a photography studio for my home and was wondering what equipment is needed.?
I plan on taking photos of mostly portraits, I have around £500 to start out with although obviously as time goes on I could buy more, i would just like to know what are the best lights etc. I have looked at a couple of sets on eBay like this one

I’m not a pro in this stuff but I have seen people using IKEA shower curtains as an alternative diffuser, and an ordinary umbrella modified so that it can be attached to the strobes.
