What is an economic good 3 points to purchase lighting equipment for studio photography in Canada?
I went through training facilities, so I know all about photojournalism but I want to start my own studio. I know the basics of lighting of 3 points, but not what brands are best. Can you help? What is the best bang for my money, essentially, in Canada and where can I find? Thank you!
Check out Ebay. There are tons of strobe lighting equipment on sale there, with and without background and backdrops are. Prices are affordable, not a lot of big name recognition, but compared with Alien Bees or something, you can get a kit all for the price of a stroboscope simple. It's kind of disposable type kit. Look replaceable bulbs and camera flashes, its usually on the list if any. Really starting out, you can find something that will not break, but that will give you the ability to make some decent pictures. Its not about the name of the lights anyway. Good Luck.
