advice on beginners studio backdrop for photography?
hi, just wondering if anyone could advise or link me to some to backdrop kits for beginners. preferably something that is not too expensive as it is just to start with. also some good beginners lighting for the studio/backdrop kit. stores in the uk please.

Hello,
Never get sucked into the ” u must have xyz,it will make you a better photographer” etc. The old and much used(because its true) adage, is to keep it simple.If youre on a limited budget,thats not a bad thing as it should make you resourceful.Its too easy just splashing the cash.
But one lesson I did learn when buying stuff(tripods at the time) go for the best you can afford,even if its 2nd hand.I use nothing but Manfrotto,it has proven its worth time and time again.
I also have to recomend Calumet(Bristol,my local) Fist class service and support.Great crew there. Just remembered that B&Q do a bag of orange clamps for about 10-12 pounds, contradicting myself here,but they are a studio must have!
